State police are investigating an alleged case of the sexual abuse of children in East Wheatfield Township. The state police say that they were contacted about a relationship between an adult and a minor child that allegedly happened between October 1st of 2018 and April 3rd. The claim was unfounded, but police did say that the male suspect may have possessed child pornography. The investigation is ongoing.
State police are looking for someone who may have lost a firearm. Police say that on Monday, around 9:49 AM, state police were contacted about a found hunting rifle. The gun was found in the homeowner’s garage in Brush Creek Township. If you are the owner of the firearm, you are asked to call police at 724-357-1960.
