Over 130 people showed up at the KCAC last night for a listening session concerning the topic of legalizing recreational marijuana.

This is part of Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman’s county-by-county listening tour to gauge the opinions of Pennsylvania residents. Fetterman talks about some of the popular reasons he’s heard for and against recreational marijuana.

Fetterman called the talk “civil and robust”. He said that the people of Pennsylvania are one of the reasons why these talks have remained civil.

After everyone had a chance to speak, Fetterman took an informal poll, and by a show of hands, about 70% of those in attendance were in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana, with another 25% against it, and the remaining 5% said they were unsure.
