State police say two people from Vintondale are people of interest in a drug investigation, but so far, charges have not been filed yet.
Troopers say the investigation was initiated on Friday, April 12th, after receiving a tip about suspected drug activity at a home on Penny Lane. While at the residence, troopers discovered methamphetamine manufacturing-related items and a suspected “one pot” meth lab. The State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team was called in to safely process, inventory and collect the suspected meth-related contraband.
The suspects have not been charged yet. They have only been identified as a 46-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, both from Vintondale. Charges are pending further investigation.
