Clymer borough council met last night and gave their okay to proceed with a loan against liquid fuel funds to complete their street program.
Borough Manager George Oakes said this will be similar to a project back in 2008 that should cover all of Clymer borough.

Speaking of the borough manager, Oakes has submitted his letter of resignation, saying that he is taking on a new job. Oakes will stay on as borough manager until a new manager is hired, but he will be paid by the hour instead of a salary.
