The Pirates committed four errors and lost to the Chicago Cubs,10-0, on Monday to open a three-game series at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.
Pittsburgh Pirates starter Jameson Taillon took a liner off his head but stayed in long enough to complete the second inning. The Cubs scored six runs in that inning, but none were earned.
Melky Cabrera led the Pirates with two hits.
The Pirates and Cubs play again tomorrow night at Wrigley Field. The game can be heard on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM, airtime 7:45 a.m.
