The Indiana Area School Board meets tonight with an agenda that includes the approval of a number of extracurricular positions, including the fall sports coaches.
That includes head football coach Brandon Overdorff, cross country coach Lisa Kinter, Todd Myers as boys’ soccer coach and Michal McKelvey as girls’ soccer coach, Matt Reed as boys’ golf coach, Elmer Bland as girls’ golf coach, Phil Palko as girls’ tennis coach, Dana Kundla as girls’ volleyball coach, and Becky Schurr as fall cheerleader coordinator. The assistant coaches for those sports are also up for approval.
The school board will also vote on a motion to approve the dissolution agreement regarding the Indiana Recreation Commission, and another motion to eliminate the Summit Learning Platform.
Among many other topics, there will also be discussion of the “Indiana Ready” model for workforce development programs.
Purchase Line’s school board is also scheduled to meet tonight. They have not yet published their agenda, but last week’s work session focused on a number of personnel items, including retirement notices from High School Principal Jim Price and several others.
