The Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 7-5, Sunday afternoon at PNC Park to complete of a four-game sweep and improve to 5-3 on the season.
Josh Bell led the way with a monster 474 foot home run and two runs batted in. Chris Archer took the win, going six innings and giving up three runs. Richard Rodriquez got his first career save.
The Bucs open a series, in Chicago this afternoon at 2:20 p.m. with the Cubs. It will be the Bucs’ Jameson Taillon vs. Jon Lester. Pregame is at 1:55 p.m. on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
