The Pirates bullpen blew another lead for Jameson Taillon as the Cardinals defeated the Bucs, 5-4, last night in 10 innings.
Taillon gave up just three hits and one earned run in seven innings. The Pirates left the bases loaded in the 10th inning.
Pittsburgh opens a weekend series with the Reds tonight with Jordan Lyles getting his first start. Pregame is at 6:40 p.m. on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
