For the second year running, an Indiana-based microbrewery was awarded the best in the state.
Levity Brewing was announced the winner of the “Best Brewery in Pennsylvania” tournament run by Breweries in PA, a digital media promotion company focused on Pennsylvania Craft Breweries. Fans were able to cast votes once a day for their favorite craft breweries across the state in a single-elimination tournament format.
Levity Co-owner and head brewer Jared Herman said that the win came down to the enthusiasm of Levity’s fans in Indiana. Levity had to face off against larger and more widely-known breweries in PA, including Victory Brewing, who have a presence all along the East Coast, and the number 1 ranked brewery in this year’s poll, Dancing Gnome.
