The State Department of Environmental Protection told White Township they will not be allowed to install new sanitary sewer connections until they submit a plan of action to deal with hydraulically overloaded sewage facilities.
During last night’s White Township Supervisors Meeting, Township manager Milt Lady explained the situation that the township is in.

The DEP is requiring the township to submit a corrective action plan to describe planning, engineering, financing, construction and operations to address and correct overloaded facilities. That plan is expected to be in by the end of the week, and Lady says the DEP may lift the restrictions by the end of the month.
