Bonnie Dell Ingmire, 94, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Bethany Place.
A daughter of the late Daniel G. and Hazel Wallace Roberts, she was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Lansing, Mich.
Bonnie was a 1942 graduate of Clare High School in Clare, Mich., and a 1943 graduate of Central Michigan Collee of Education in Lansing, Mich. She retired from Rite Aid Drug Store, where she was a cashier. Bonnie was a member of the Indiana Moose Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling, baking and cooking.
She is survived by five children: Zack L. Ingmire, Jr. and wife Eleanor, of Manor; Charles D. Ingmire and wife Sandra, of Blairsville; Terry M. Ingmire and wife Susan, of Scottsdale, AZ; Valerie K. Penrose and companion Harry Mikesell, of Indiana; and Cathy J. Gardner and husband Joe, of Alvarado, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John “Jack” A. Ingmire; her longtime companion, Harold Thompson; her stepmother, Mildred A. Roberts; and a sister, Wanetta Brower.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Robert T. Ingmire officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
