The state Liquor Control Board yesterday announced the return of $2.1 million in licensing fees to 1,103 municipalities across the commonwealth.
Fourteen-hundred dollars of those funds will be coming to Indiana County. Indiana Borough will get $900. Green Township gets $200. Plumville and Black Lick Township will each receive $150.
The PLCB is required to return the funds twice each year to the municipalities in which liquor license fees are paid. Liquor license fees range from $125 to $700 depending on the type of license and the population of the municipality in which the license is located.
Yesterday’s dispersal across the state totaled $858,600.
