Leonard Clair Long, Jr., 60, of Glen Campbell, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.
A son of the late Leonard Clair and Alethia Louise Patterson Long, Sr., he was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Indiana.
Leonard was a graduate of Indiana High School and received an associate degree in Architecture Design from Triangle Tech. He was a driller for Ziegenfuss Drilling. Leonard was a member of the East Run Sportsman Club. His hobby was raising cattle. Leonard enjoyed all sports, including the Steelers and Penguins. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. Leonard will be sadly missed, especially by his best friend Miles.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna L. Henning Long, of Glen Campbell; seven children: Matthew DiMond and wife Kristen, of CT; Richard Long and fiancée Alysha, of East Run; Cherie DiMond-Hughes, of FL; Crystal Vasquez and fiancé Joe, of Clymer; Edd DiMond, of HI; Jacie Long, of PA; and Melissa Long and fiancé Romman, of Gillett; two brothers: Charles Long and wife Kathy, of Vienna, OH; and Ed Long and wife Judy, of Home; two sisters: Anna Dragon and husband Mike, of Snowflake, AZ and Bonnie Cunkelman, of Indiana; 19 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Shane Long; and an infant brother, Gerald Evan Long.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. Saturday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, with Pastor Paul Murry officiating.
