Indiana County Emergency Crews are busy this morning as two crashes were reported with one person in each crash suffering injuries.
Dan Schacreaw of the Blacklick Fire Department reported that a crash on Route 22 was in the Eastbound lanes between Palmerton Road and Penn View Road. Indiana County 911 reported the crash at 5:13 this morning. That’s when a passenger vehicle rear-ended a tractor-trailer truck. A woman in the car was injured and she was taken to the hospital by Citizen’s Ambulance for treatment.
Meanwhile, crews were on the scene at a crash near Route 286 in Rayne Township at 6:23. Few details are available on this crash, but Clymer Fire Chief John Gromley said that the crash happened on Rayne Church Road near the intersection with 286. Gromley said that one vehicle was involved and one person was injured. Clymer firefighters were joined by Citizens Ambulance and State Troopers on the scene.
