The high school baseball and softball seasons get underway this week, with games scheduled in both sports on Friday.
In softball, West Shamokin will visit Blairsville, Ligonier Valley will travel to Purchase Line, Marion Center plays at Homer Center, and Northern Cambria will visit United.
In baseball, Saltsburg plays at Penns Manor, West Shamokin is at Blairsville, Marion Center is at Homer Center, and Northern Cambria visits United.
Indiana opens its softball season on Friday at Valley. The baseball team starts its regular season on Monday at Norwin.
