State police are investigating a case of access device fraud and theft that has happened over the course of the past year. Trooper say that two people, a 35-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, both from Home, were able to get the debit card of a 59-year-old woman, also of Home, and used the card to make $1,815 in purchases. The two suspects were located in an unrelated incident. They are currently being detained in Indiana County Jail on bond.
State police have no suspects yet in an attempted burglary that happened earlier this month. Police say that sometime between 11:00 PM on March 10th and 6:00 AM on the 11th, someone was able to get into the home of a 49-year-old woman from Clymer Borough through undetermined means. When that didn’t work, they tried again to break in, this time due to a rear window. The attempt was unsuccessful as the window was locked and secured. The suspect fled the scene after that.
