Today, Downtown Indiana welcomes everyone to celebrate St. Patrick’s weekend with a parade and several events today.
The activities start at 10:00 at Dan Smith’s Candies and the William and Mary Gift Shoppe. The annual parade will start at noon and will go from 5th to 9th streets. After the parade, kids and their families are invited over to 7th Street Marketry for kids crafts.
The parade is sure to include some bagpipe music, and the Laurel Highlanders Pipe and Drum corps will perform inside the Coney after the parade is over. Also, SpiritLife Recovery Community Center will host a refreshment area in their community center at 574 Philadelphia Street, 2nd floor from 10 AM to 2 PM.
