Last night, the American Red Cross held their annual “Paint the County Red” Gala, celebrating the volunteers and groups that help the charitable organization.
This is the lone “big fundraiser” put on by the Red Cross themselves in the county, and Jessie Dunmire-Amarato, the executive director of the Chestnut Ridge Chapter, said this was the eighth year for the fundraiser.

On top of honoring all the volunteers this year, the Red Cross also honored Diamond Drug and Diamond Medical Supply for their support of the Red Cross over many years. Mark Zillner, COO of Diamond Drugs talked about how important it is to help the Red Cross.
