As promised, state police have released details of the arrest of a man listed on this month’s “Five Most Wanted” fugitive list, and of the new charges filed against him and another man.
33-year-old Lamar Virgil Clemons of Indiana was taken into custody on a without incident last Saturday morning by police at a home at 710 Josephine Avenue in White Township. In a bedroom at the home, police found a suspected “one-pot” methamphetamine laboratory. They summoned the State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team to process and collect the materials, and they arrested Clemons and 36-year-old Andrew Joseph Walagura of Renfrew, Butler County, who was also at the house.
Both Clemons and Walagura are charged with three felonies, for possession with intent to deliver; deposits, storage, and disposal of chemical waste; and possession of a controlled substance. Each was arraigned before District Judge Susanne Steffee, who ordered them held at the Indiana County Jail, with bond for each set at$100,000. Judge Steffee also set a $50,000 bond for Clemons for the original charge for which he was wanted, felony drug delivery.
