Few details are available at this time about a fire in White Township that started late last night.
Indiana County 911 reported that Indiana County Fire Association Companies 1 and 2 were called out to a home on Grandview Avenue in White Township at 10:50 PM, along with citizen’s ambulance and the RIG team. About 16 minutes later, Clymer and Homer City fire crews were called out.
Ron Moreau of the Indiana Fire Association said it was a quick knockdown by fire crews on the scene, and there were no reported injuries of firefighters. The house was an unoccupied structure that was locked, and while electric was still going to the structure, the gas was shut off.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire, but State Police fire marshals are on the scene investigating.
