A Downtown Indiana tradition will continue this year with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Parade is set for Saturday, March 16th in Downtown Indiana. Downtown Indiana is starting to organize the parade, and they are looking for people to apply to be a part of the parade. They are looking for automobile units, floats and marching units to take part. They are warning all participants that throwing candy from a moving unit, is not allowed, but candy thrown or handed out by those walking on the street is allowed.
Downtown Indiana is also looking for volunteers to help with the parade and to help with kids crafts, which will be held at the 7th Street Marketry at the corner of 7th and Philadelphia Streets.
