A man from Indiana could face disorderly conduct charges for an incident Friday morning in White Township.
State police say that a woman mistakenly went to the home of an un-named 38-year-old Indiana man on Braughler Lane while she was trying to locate another house to pick up a client for medical transport. When she got there, she started to talk with the man, and he got agitated with her, telling her to leave. As she drove off, she reported having heard gun shots, and that’s when she called 911. Troopers immediately responded and after a while, they were able to get the man to voluntarily leave his residence to meet with troopers outside. Troopers determined that following the conversation, the man went back into the home, retrieved a shotgun and it’s believed that he left the home and as she was driving away, he fired several rounds from the shotgun into the ground on his property.
Troopers do not have any information to confirm that he fired the gun at any people, vehicles or buildings. Charges of disorderly conduct are pending against the suspect.
