T. Rowene Davis, 90, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Roy George and Viola Belle Bracken Stiles, she was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Strongstown.
Mrs. Davis was a 1946 graduate of Heilwood High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indiana F.O.P Auxiliary. Mrs. Davis was also a member of the First Christian Church, where she was a Deaconess and served on the Fellowship Committee. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning and sewing. Mrs. Davis loved camping and traveling to most of the United States.
She is survived by two daughters: Judith A. Raglani and husband Guerine, of Indiana; T. Diane Burkley and husband George “Turk”, of Blairsville; a sister, Anna S. Kock, of Bel Air, MD; two grandchildren: Brandi L. McKinney and husband Todd, of Burlington, NC; Michael J. Raglani, of Indiana; four great-grandchildren: Macy and Landen McKinney, Mason and Luke Raglani; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T. Claude Davis, Jr.; a brother, Thomas H. Stiles; and a sister, V. Mae DiFabio.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., with the Rev. Howard Greenfield officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, 500 Water Street, Indiana, PA 15701.
