Gas prices in Indiana County on average continue to increase as we get closer to Spring.
As of today, gas prices in Indiana County have averaged out to $2.65 a gallon, which is three cents more expensive than last week. Gasbuddy.com reports that in Indiana borough, gas prices are hovering today around $2.69 a gallon, which is a four cent increase from last week. Gas prices are the same in both the Homer City and Blairsville, at $2.69 a gallon.
The most expensive gas prices in the surrounding region are $2.67 a gallon on average in both Clearfield and Cambria County. Jefferson County checks in at $2.61 a gallon on average, Westmoreland County reports an average at $2.59 a gallon, and the lowest average gas price in the region is Armstrong County with $2.58 a gallon.
Gas prices across the state are also seeing an increase, as they are now at $2.58 a gallon. That’s a 7.1 cent increase from last week, but still 23 cents lower than last year at this time.
