Today is the commemoration of Washington’s Birthday, and as such, there are some closures in effect for the day.
Non-essential Federal offices are closed for the day, as are state offices, including PennDOT Driver’s License Centers. As far as state liquor stores go, if the store would normally be open today, then it will be open. Many banks are also closed for the day today.
There will be no regular mail delivery today, but FedEx and UPS will operate on normal schedules today. The Indiana Free Library remains closed as construction in the building continues, and the Jimmy Stewart Museum is also closed for the holiday, but will re-open on Tuesday.
