White Township Supervisors met last night and approved advertising their new Stormwater Management Ordinance.
The ordinance has gone through several revisions since supervisors started working on it several months ago, and last night, Township Manager Milt Lady said that due to the number of changes since the first advertisement of the new ordinance, the ordinance should be re-advertised. Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson talked about some of the differences in the new ordinance.

The ordinance will be up for final approval at their next meeting later this month.
In other business, the board of supervisors approved sending letters to the state house and senate representatives concerning the recent budget proposal from Governor Tom Wolf. They are against the proposal of having local communities pay a fee for state police to provide police coverage.
