The IUP basketball teams play a doubleheader this afternoon at Gannon. Both the IUP woman and men are coming off impressive wins Wednesday night against Slippery Rock, and both are in sole possession of first place in the PSAC West.
The 4th-ranked IUP women are 19-1, while Gannon comes into the game at 11-12. IUP won the first matchup between the two teams on January 2nd, 66-40 as Brittany Robinson scored 18.
The 20-2 sixth-ranked IUP men match up with an 8-14 Gannon squad that has dropped two straight, including a Wednesday night loss to Seton Hill. IUP won the first matchup with Gannon, 78-57 as Malik Miller scored 26 and Cobo Diaz 21.
