State police have identified the two men killed in a murder-suicide over the weekend in Apollo.
It happened in the early morning hours on Saturday at a home in the 500 block of Terrace Avenue. Police say the resident there, 33-year-old David Ervin Lee, had argued over the course of the night with 25-year-old David Anthony Gaydos and as the night went on, Lee got a handgun and shot Gaydos twice, killing him. Then Lee turned the gun on himself.
Police do not say how much of a time span there was between the two shootings. As for Gaydos, they say only that he was from Armstrong County. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers.
