Indiana Borough Police report three incidents, all on Wednesday.
A suspicious person tried to break into a home in the 1100 block of Church Street on Wednesday night. It happened just before 9 PM. The resident said a taller person wearing a hoodie broke a window, and was also seen on the back porch of the home.
A package thief swiped a delivery from an apartment entrance in the 700 block of Philadelphia Street. The victim is an IUP student who told police that she had a box of Sephora makeup delivered to the home and someone stole it before she got it, between 11 AM and 2 PM on Wednesday.
Indiana Borough Police also report a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of Church Street Wednesday night between 7:30 and 8 PM. An early-2000s silver-colored sedan rear-ended a parked car.
