Indiana Borough Police have issued a report on an accident involving a pedestrian late yesterday morning.
Police say it happened at 10:57 AM when a transit bus navigating a turn from Maple Street struck a woman who was walking on the roadway across Wayne Avenue. The victim was transported to the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Her name has not been released, and there is no report on her condition or the extent of her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
