Police reports today include a couple of cases of driving under the influence. A 24-year-old man from Valencia, Butler County was taken into custody last Friday evening after state police were notified of a man passed out in his vehicle with the engine running in the parking lot at the Staples store in White Township. The man was under the influence of alcohol. He’s not been publicly identified.
A 55-year-old Homer City man was taken into custody for DUI Saturday afternoon in Center Township. State police were alerted to an erratic driver who had passed out in his vehicle along Kanouff Street. Troopers found the man under the influence of a controlled substance.
Indiana Borough Police say an Indiana man had marijuana on him during a traffic stop last night on Gompers Avenue. 22-year-o;d Malik Meterko is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Borough Police also report that someone cut a tire on a parked vehicle on Philadelphia Street. It happened between 7 o’clock Saturday evening and one o’clock Sunday afternoon.
