UPDATE: Stephen James Oswalt pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property in one case and possession of heroin in another case. The other two cases were not prosecuted. He will be sentenced March 25th.
42-year-old Jeanne Marie Hammond of Clymer pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft and was sentenced to a year of probation.
In the sentencing hearings, Jason Cirocco was sentenced to three years of probation and a $500 fine.
32-year-old David Allen Fullmer of Homer City was sentenced to a year of probation and a 500 fine for a misdemeanor simple assault
And 20-year-old Nevada Shaffer of Punxsy was sentenced to four years of probation, and must pay a $800 fine and $2400 in restitution for misdemeanor theft.
WHAT PREVIOUSLY WAS RECENT
In Indiana County Court today, Plea Court appearances are scheduled for several criminal defendants, including one who is expected to enter pleas in four separate cases.
In all, 32-year-old Steven James Oswalt of Indiana is accused in three drug cases and a theft case. Combining all four cases, he is charged with five counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, a single count of possession of marijuana for personal use, and a single count of receiving stolen property. All of the cases are from 2018. One of the drug cases is from April, two are dated May 7th, and the receiving stolen property case is from August.
Also in Plea Court today, 42-year-old Jeanne Marie Hammond of Clymer will enter pleas to charges of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft.
19-year-old Christopher Monge of Pittsburgh is expected to enter a plea to a single count of possession of a controlled substance.
