Both IUP basketball teams remain undefeated after a doubleheader at Mercyhurst last night.
The women played for the first time since being ranked number-one in the nation, winning 74-57 as Lauren Wolosik scored her 1,000th career point. Carolyn Appleby scored 17 and Wolosik and Brittany Robinson each had 13.

Both IUP teams return to the court Saturday afternoon for a doubleheader at Slippery Rock. Cal beat the Slippery Rock women last night, 78-72. The Rock’s men beat Cal last night, 95-84 and have won seven straight after starting the season 2-5.
