State Representative Jim Struzzi joined his House colleagues in taking the oath of office yesterday in Harrisburg, and sounded afterward like he’s going to hit the ground running.
Struzzi enjoyed the proceedings on the floor of the House, but was anxious to get started on his top priorities. He listed employment and workforce development, the opioid crisis, and elimination of property taxes as his top issues.
Like his predecessor, Dave Reed, Struzzi will operate three district offices, in Indiana, Blairsville, and Homer City. The Indiana office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM; the Blairsville office hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM; the Homer City office will be open on Thursdays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
After yesterday’s swearing in ceremonies, the House and Senate return to Harrisburg on January 15th.
