Lance Ralph Kinter, 55, Homer City, died Thursday, December 27, 2018, as the result of a residential fire.
Born May 22, 1963, he was the son of G. Ralph and Virginia (McGee) Kinter.
Lance was a graduate of Homer Center High School after which he attended Penn State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He later received a Master’s Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Lance had been employed many years by Creps United Publication. When time permitted, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports. He will be remembered as a loving son and sadly missed.
Surviving are his parents; a daughter, Rachel Kinter and granddaughter Penelope Kinter both of Punxsutawney; sister, Kimberly (William) Johnson, Blacklick; two nieces, Allison Johnson, Blairsville and Samantha (Chuck) Glass, Indiana; great niece, Riley and a great nephew, Owen Glass, both of Indiana.
Preceding Lance in death were his paternal grandparents, Clair A. and Florence (Ramer) Kinter and maternal grandparents, Amos and Virginia (Russ) McGee.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 at the Bethel Church to offer their condolences. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Terry Semsick, officiating.
