Indiana Borough Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute.
Police say that they were called out at 3:16 AM yesterday to a home in the 200 block of Nixon Avenue. That’s where 22-year-old Wesley Guzman of Indiana allegedly threw an identified woman to the floor and choked her, injuring her in the process. This happened when several juveniles were present.
Guzman was taken into custody on charges of felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and corruption of minors, and summary harassment. He was arraigned by District Judge Guy Haberl and placed in Indiana County Jail as he was unable to post $10,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is set for 3:00 PM on January 9th.
