More details are available on the crash on Route 422 that tied up traffic on Friday.
State police say the crash at Route 422 and Five Points Road in Armstrong Township happened at 12:32 on Friday. A car driven by 19-year-old Krista Kutchman of Johnstown was going east on 422 when a car driven by 24-year-old Jessica Champ of Indiana pulled out in front of Kutchman and tried to make a left turn. The two collided, rendering Champ’s car disabled.
Champ appeared to be unresponsive and after Citizens EMS administered Naloxone to her, she was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Neither Kuchman, nor her passenger were injured in the crash. Charges of DUI could be filed against Champ pending the results of a blood test.
