State Police are investigating a case of theft by an online scam that happened in South Bend Township in Armstrong County. Troopers from the Kittanning barracks say that on December 13th, the victim, who was not named, was deprived of $1200 in an Ebay scam. Few other details are available on the scam itself.
State police in Greensburg are continuing to investigate a crash that could turn into charges of DUI. Police say that on November 17th, around 4:13 PM, a 22-year-old woman crashed into a home on Route 982. She is suspected of driving under the influence. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
Another DUI investigation is going on in Unity Township, and it involves an Indiana County person. State Police in Greensburg say that a one-vehicle crash happened on Friday around 12:49 AM at the intersection of Route 30 and Fred Rogers Road. A known person from Homer City was involved in the crash, and showed signs of being impaired. Charges are pending the results of blood tests.
