CORA PATTERSON, 84

Cora “Avalee” (Sensabaugh) Patterson, 84, of Clymer, PA died Monday, October 29, 2018 at AristaCare @ Hillsdale Park in Hillsdale, PA.
The daughter of John and Esther Mae (Learn) Sensabaugh, she was born on April 6, 1934 in Green Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
Avalee married Carl Eugene Patterson on February 14, 1953 and shared over sixty-one years of marriage until his death on October 10, 2014.
She had regularly attended the Morning Star Ministries. Avalee greatly enjoyed singing with her husband at church and on the radio station.
Avalee loved camping; African Violets and flowers; canning and going camping. She devoted her life to her husband and raising their family.
She is survived by her eight children: Bonnie Horn of Cookport, PA; Wanda Pahutsky and husband Chris of Cherry Tree, PA; Thomas Patterson and wife Christene (LaRosa) of Cocoa, FL; Ken Patterson of Clymer, PA; Donna Yount and husband Brian of Diamondville, PA; Daniel Patterson and wife Carol (Stiffler) of Alverda, PA; Carla Henry and husband Dave of Commodore, PA and Teena Patterson of Indiana, PA; her 14 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren; her sister: Theda Sensabaugh Johns and husband Rothard of Diamondville, PA and her sister-in-law: Lavada (Johns) Sensabaugh of Commodore, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl; her son-in-law: Randy Horn; her daughter-in-law: Cindy (Hopkins) Patterson and her four brothers: Doyle; Merritt “Jack”; Robert and Gerald Sensabaugh.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA where an 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 with Pastor Robert White officiating. Interment will be at the Diamondville Cemetery, Diamondville, PA.
