State police have charged a Burrell Township man with two counts of retail theft for two shoplifting incidents on consecutive days at the White Township Wal-Mart. 37-year-old Lindsey Beth Diamond is accused of stealing more than $579 worth of merchandise on September 25th and returning to the store the following day and taking more than $365 worth of items.
Police are investigating a theft which occured overnight between September 16th and 17th along Oakland Avenue in Homer City Borough. A thief stole a debit card from the unlocked vehicle of a Homer City woman.
A Venango County man refused treatment after an accident Friday morning on Goral Road in Center Township. State Police say Justin Hawkins fell asleep at the wheel of his Ford Escape, which veered into an embankment. The vehicle was heavily damaged.
