One day after making his farewell address to the State House of Representatives, current House Majority Leader Dave Reed announced that he will join the staff of First Commonwealth Bank as a regional president.
In an interview heard this morning on Indiana in the Morning on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM, First Commonwealth CEO Mike Price said that Reed has a proven track record of leadership and his financial knowledge that made him ideal for the position
Reed said that he was interested in working for First Commonwealth because he wanted to continue to live in Indiana County where he grew up and where his family is. He also said that he was always involved in economic issues, and he wanted to find a place where he could still be involved in the economic future of the area.
Reed will be responsible for a 10-county area, including Clearfield, Indiana, Elk and other areas of Western Pennslyvania.
Reed gave his farewell address yesterday to the State House of Representatives. His last official day with State Government will be November 30th.
