PSP-GREENSBURG
State Police out of Greensburg have charged a man with a robbery in Derry Township in late September. Troopers say that the victim, an un-named Westmoreland County woman, was physically assaulted and restrained in the back of the vehicle of 27-year-old Joshua David Onusko while driving her to a back road. When they got there, Onusko searched the woman and took $15. He then threatened to drive his vehicle into a tree while driving her back to her home on Scott Court. After arriving, the woman got out of the vehicle and Onusko allegedly fled. District Judge Mark Billik issued an arrest warrant on September 28th. Onusko was involved in another robbery that happened October 11th. State Police were able to catch up with him and he was taken into custody.
PSP-PUNXSUTAWNEY
State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a crash that happened on Route 210 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County. Police say the crash happened on October 15th when an Indiana County person crashed their car. Police believe that alcohol or drugs were involved, and they were taken to the Punxsutawney Medical Center emergency room for chemical testing. The investigation is ongoing.
