Penelec customers in the Clymer area are once again without power this morning.
Representatives from Penelec say that a tripped circuit has shut off power for 1,118 customers. As of right now, 500 remain out, while the remaining people are still without power at this time. Crews are currently on scene and they are working on replacing insulators and restoring power to all of their customers by noon today.
There’s still no word on the cause of the prior outage which happened at 6:44 Thursday morning that affected over 1100 Penelec customers. Penelec crews were able to switch substations for that area and power was restored for those people in little over an hour. Penelec found no damage in the area and they were unable to find a cause.
