One person was injured in a crash on Grant Street in Indiana Borough Thursday afternoon. State Police say that 26-year-old Havva Ozer of Indiana was driving into the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Grant Street and failed to yield to a car driven by 75-year-old Alice Rogeaux of Indiana, who was going west on Wayne Avenue. Ozer was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Ozer’s car was able to be removed from the scene under its own power, while Rogeaux’s car needed assistance. Ozer was cited for running a stop sign.
State Police are looking into a case of theft that happened on October 7th. Police say that at 11:30 on Sunday, someone gained access to a 53-year-old Indiana man’s debit card and made an unwanted purchase of $50. The investigation continues.
