Indiana Borough Police are investigating a case of joyriding in the borough.
Police say that on Monday, they were notified that someone stole a bucket truck from Moreau Sign Company headquarters on 11th Street and left it in the 1100 block of Gompers Avenue. Surveillance cameras at the company were able to get a picture of the suspect, which company officials posted to social media. Tips generated from that posting lead police to the arrest of 30-year-old Michael Corey Matheny of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Matheny was eventually found at the Best Western in Indiana, and taken into custody.
He was charged with one count each of theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of automobiles and other vehicles. Matheny was lodged in Indiana County Jail to await his arraignment hearing.
