William “Bill” R. Hall, 88, Indiana, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Harvey L. and Effie (Weaver) Hall, he was born January 7, 1930 in South Mahoning Twp., Indiana County.
Mr. Hall was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Sargent in the Marines. He was employed many years with Agway as a Building Supervisor.
Bill loved to hunt, travel, play cards with friends, and picnic with his family. He enjoyed making wood carvings to give to family and friends.
Surviving is loving wife, Betty (McCormick) Hall; children, Wanda (Allen) Holtzer, Bob Hall, and J. Elaine (Randy) Craig; grandchildren, Kris (Amanda) Holtzer, Adam Holzter, Erin (Tom) Creveling, Scott (Allie) Craig; great grandchildren, Bryce and Brynn Holtzer, Brooklyn Creveling and Calvin Craig; a brother, James (Nancy) Hall; sister, Florence Shank; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mr. Hall in death were his parents; an infant brother, Ronald; and a brother-in-law, Leroy Shank.
As per Mr. Halls’ request, arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
