Center Township Supervisors are continuing spot-paving operations for the time being.
At last night’s Center Township Supervisors meeting, Supervisors Chairman Dave “Butch” Smyers said that they’ve had their small paver out doing some laying down hot-mix paving material in bad areas. He said that as long as the factory is continuing to churn out hot-mix material, and as long as the weather continues to be good, they will continue to patch roads. Some of the areas they are focusing on right now are Johnny George Road, Tide Road and Six Flat Road.
Supervisors also set trick-or-treating time for Halloween Night, with the annual Halloween Parade starting at 5:30 in Homer City, and trick or treating to follow from 6-8 PM.
