Last night, the Pens rounded out their pre-season schedule with a 7-6 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Both teams were even in the first two periods, scoring three goals each in the first and two goals each in the second. After each team scored a goal in the third, it was Oliver Bjorkstrand’s goal at the 16:04 mark of the third to break the tie and give the Blue Jackets the game. The Pens will start their regular season on October 4th hosting the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals
