Last night was a gala party to kick off the 14th Annual Love of Life Campaign for IRMC, and word that IRMC is looking to become certified in Breast Cancer Treatment.
Speaking at last night’s event was Dr. Dan Clark, the Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at IRMC, who announced that a lot of progress has been made in getting the certification. Clark said that the goal for IRMC is to exceed national standards and while the process is just getting started, IRMC has many of the pieces already in place.
Heather Reed of the Indiana Healthcare Foundation said that one part of the annual fundraiser, the love of life jewelry raffle will not be held this year, but they are confident that donations will continue to come in.
The next event for the Love of Life Campaign is their annual 5K Run/Walk which will be on October 20th.
