State police say a woman was duped out of twenty bucks at the White Township Walmart store on September 1st.
The victim reported that she was approached at the store by a man who said the store was offering a limited time deal on makeup…a large amount of merchandise in a makeup bag for twenty dollars. She accepted and paid, but when she opened the bag, it wasn’t what she’d been told. Police did not say what was inside. The woman went to the service desk and asked for a refund, but was told the store had not offered such a deal.
The suspect could not be found within the store. He’s described as a white male between 18 and 22 years old, with black hair. He was wearing a red/pink shirt.
